CEDCO goal is to bridge the gap in developing and financing business ideas to assist entrepreneurs in building on a solid business foundation.

CEDCO provides start-up & expanding businesses the technical assistance training business counseling and business training workshops to increase the comprehension of entrepreneurship and business acumen. These sessions include business plan / financial projection development, project monitoring, business financing, bookkeeping, cash flow projection, marketing, and business operations / management.

CEDCO administers the City of Kenosha Micro-Enterprise Technical Assistance Program. The mission is to cultivate and strengthen the entrepreneurial environment in the community. These activities consist of business development and capacity building.

CEDCO administers financial programs through the City of Racine Minority Loan Fund and the State of Wisconsin Department of Commerce Matching Loan Fund. These loan programs provide a fixed rate, low interest loan for proposed projects that may assist in creating new jobs, help businesses maintain or expand existing operations and advance community economic development goals and objectives.

CEDCO loan programs assist healthy businesses survive difficult times. Seasonality, unexpected business expenses and other unforeseen difficulties affect all businesses. These minor business situations can turn into major problems for some businesses. CEDCO can assist minority businesses to overcome unanticipated business situations.
